A great event with singer-songwriter music in the heart of Sardinia this evening, Friday 20 June, at 10 pm in the suggestive Piazza Sa Giorgio di Atzara: one of the undisputed protagonists of Italian music, Fabio Concato, arrives.
The concert, with free admission, represents one of the flagship events of the summer music season and offers the public a unique opportunity to see a live performance by an artist who has marked the history of Italian songwriting.
A cultured and refined singer-songwriter, Fabio Concato has conquered entire generations with his elegant, ironic and intimate style.
Songs such as “Domenica bestiale”, “Fiore di maggio”, “Rosalina”, “Guido piano” and “Ti ricordo ancora” are now part of the national musical heritage.
Born in Milan in 1953, Concato made his debut in the Seventies and immediately stood out for the originality of his musical language, capable of describing everyday life with delicacy and depth.
In over fifty years of career he has published more than twenty albums, collaborated with great Italian and international musicians, crossing the seasons of music with coherence and sensitivity.
In Atzara, the artist will retrace his long career with a concert full of emotions, poems set to music and great expressive intensity.
On stage he will be joined by a historic and well-established line-up, composed of Ornella D'Urbano on piano, keyboards and arrangements, Gabriele Palazzi Rossi on drums, Stefano Casali on bass and Larry Tomassini on guitars.
An ensemble that shares with him years of music, stages and artistic inspiration.
The concert is organized by Bflat of Cagliari with the artistic direction of Marcotullio Coco and the support of the Sardinian Region as part of the "Itinerari Musicali" festival, a project that has been active for years in the small towns and villages of the Island and that promotes the meeting between great artists and territories with a high identity and cultural value.
Tonight's event presents itself as an unmissable appointment for all lovers of author music in a landscape and human context that will enrich the artistic and personal experience of the audience present.
