Max Verstappen , fifth in the Las Vegas GP, won the 2024 Formula 1 world championship, taking his fourth consecutive title at the wheel of Red Bull.

The Dutchman only needed to finish the GP ahead of Lando Norris' McLaren, who finished sixth, to secure the triumph with two races to spare.

“Oh my god! What a season! Four times! Thanks guys, thanks!”, the driver’s first words to the team radio after crossing the finish line.

First across the finish line in Las Vegas was George Russell for Mercedes, ahead of his teammate Lewis Hamilton and the Ferraris of Carlos Sainz, third, and Charles Leclerc, fourth.
