Weekend dedicated to auteur films at the Dolianova Art Museum with two events in collaboration with the Società Umanitaria-Cineteca Sarda as part of the research project on photography "Fathers and Sons" by Salvatore Ligios and on the occasion of the European Days of the Heritage. We start tomorrow at 8pm with the screening of Maurizio Carta's feature film “35mm-History of photojournalism in Italy” dedicated to Mario Dondero and Pablo Volta. This will be followed by the viewing of Pablo Volta's documentary “Mamuthones, the transformation of a Carnival” made in 1982 by the Argentine photographer and never broadcast to public until now.

On Saturday 23 September, to celebrate European Heritage Day, the Dart Museum will be open to visitors from 6pm. At 7pm the Ar/S project of the Sardinia Foundation will be presented, curated by Franco Carta, and dedicated to art photography. At 9pm screening of the film “Calma e chalk” a journey with Mario Dondero.

The director Marco Cruciani will dialogue with the director of the Humanitarian Society Antonello Zanda and the artistic director of the Dart Dario Piludu.
