On Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 September, the European Heritage Days are back, the largest and most popular cultural event in Europe.

"Cultural heritage: ALL included!" is the title of the 2021 edition, with many appointments also in Cagliari.

The initiatives will take place along two historic tree-lined avenues of the city of Cagliari, one dating back to the 19th century, viale Buoncammino, the other dating back to the contemporary age, via Dante, in line with the exhibition "Vegetable architecture, the tree-lined streets of Cagliari" , which can be visited at the “Il Ghetto” Municipal Art Center and accessible, upon reservation and Green pass, with a reduced ticket on GEP days.

The itinerant walks will be led by an exceptional guide, the agronomist Tiziana Sassu.

The “Viale Buoncammino: almost two centuries of honorable service” walk is scheduled for Saturday 25 September. The route, lasting about an hour, includes two departures from the terrace of the Ghetto (at 4 pm and 6 pm) and arrival in Piazza A. Marongiu Pernis.

Sunday 26 September we meet at 9.30 and 11.30 in a gazebo in Piazza Giovanni XXIII for the walk “Via Dante: modernity that advances”. The route lasts an hour and ends after about 800 meters in Piazza San Benedetto. Over the two days, guided tours, extraordinary openings, digital initiatives will be organized in state and non-state museums and places of culture.
