European elections, the results on the island: the Sardinians reward the centre-left, FdI is the first party but the Democratic Party is close behind. M5s almost at 17%, Avs at 10%, Lega flops

Even on the island in the European elections FdI confirms itself as the first party, but the vote of the Sardinians rewards the centre-left, with the Dems very close to FdI and an excellent result also for the 5 Star Movement and the Green Left Alliance .
The sore point is the turnout: Sardinia black jersey in Italy , just over one voter in three went to the polls for the European elections, with a turnout of 36.89% , the lowest (in Italy it was 49, 7%). In municipal elections, however, it is much higher ( 58% ) and more in line with the national figure of 62.6%.
The results also reward Giorgia Meloni's party on the island, the most voted with 24.77%, but Elly Schlein's PD is very close to 24.16% . The 5 Star Movement performed very well compared to the national figure, driven by the Todde effect, 16.9% (at a national level it is under 10%). The performance of Alleanza Verdi Sinistra was also excellent at 10.05% . Immediately behind the red-greens is Forza Italia with 9.79% . The League did very poorly, 5.55% . On the island of "Peace, Land, Dignity", Santoro's movement even surpasses Renzi and Calenda, obtaining 3.84%. United States of Europe is at 2.38%, Share 1.59%. Finally we have Libertà by Cateno De Luca at 0.6% and Alternativa Popolare at 0.37%.
Considering the entire Islands constituency, however, FI overtakes the M5s and the Pd thanks to the excellent result in Sicily, where the Azzurri are the first party . These are the results: FdI 21.26%, FI 20.3%, Pd 16.75%, M5s 16.26%, Lega 7%, Avs 6.14%.
