The FIGC has successfully concluded the process of sending the documents that make up the Preliminary Bid Dossier relating to the candidacy to host the final phase of Euro 2032.

There are 11 cities involved in the candidacy phase and among these there is also Cagliari.

In addition to the capital of Sardinia, the candidacy document also indicates Milan, Turin, Verona, Genoa, Bologna, Florence, Rome, Naples, Bari and Palermo.

However, the candidate cities will be reduced to 10 in the Final Bid Dossier, which must be presented by the Federation by 12 April 2023.

The assignment of the event by the UEFA Executive Committee is instead expected between September and October 2023.
