Euro 2024, the Netherlands beats Turkey: they will challenge England in the semi-final
Akaydin scored in the first half, but the Oranje overturned it and eliminated Montella's team. It ends 2-1

After France-Spain, the second semi-final of Euro 2024 will be England-Holland.
The British beat Switzerland on penalties ( THE NEWS ), while in the 9pm match Koeman's team came from behind to beat Turkey, winning 2-1.

The Turkish national team coached by Montella broke the deadlock in the 35th minute of the first half, once again with a defender: a great cross from the right by Arda Guler and Akaydin towered over everyone, heading the ball past Verbruggen.
At the start of the second half the Oranje had a great opportunity to equalise: Weghorst made a tower for Depay, who however failed to find the winning deflection from close range.
But Turkey is alive and in the 55th minute they hit the post, with a dangerous free kick kicked left-footed by Arda Guler. Ten minutes later another thrill for the Netherlands, with Verbruggen blocking a powerful shot from Yldiz from outside the area.
Just before the 70th minute Koeman's men equalized: Depay's cross following a corner and De Vrij found the shot that made it 1-1.
6 minutes pass and the Oranje manage to overturn it: Dumfries puts in from the right and Gakpo pounces on the ball, who is overwhelmed by Muldur's opposition, with the ball ending up in the net touched by the Turkish defender.
In the final minutes the two goalkeepers were the protagonists and in particular Verbruggen, who saved the result in injury time and secured the pass for Dortmund's semi-final against England.
