The country as a story to be told: this is the philosophy behind Ethno's Literary Festival, which from November 6th to 28th will travel through Martis, Laerru, Sassari, and Perfugas with literary presentations, shows, music, workshops, and meetings for all ages in a program curated by scientific director Giovanni Campus and artistic director Davide Tuseddu.

The event kicks off on Friday, November 6th at the "Migaleddu" multipurpose center in Martis with a performative lecture dedicated to Cesare Pavese, "Paese e Pavese," by and with Giovanni Campus, featuring readings by Maria Paola Cordella and live music by Carlo Doneddu. On Saturday, November 7th, "Radici e tre amici" will take place, a journey through the songs of Francesco Guccini, featuring Maria Antonietta Fraoni (vocals), Giommaria Rudas (mandolin and guitar), and Enrico Sini (guitars).

Among the most notable theater performances is Ascanio Celestini, starring on Friday, November 20th at 9:00 pm in "Poveri Cristi." On Saturday, November 28th, at 9:00 pm, Isabella Ragonese and Rodrigo D'Erasmo will perform "Gli amori difficili," a show inspired by Italo Calvino's short stories written between 1949 and 1967.
