ERSU Sassari pays the first installment to beneficiaries who were left without a scholarship
Provision made possible by the arrival of state funds
There were 1,180 scholarship holders who were left empty-handed. From next week the first installment of the scholarship will be paid to all those entitled to it and therefore 100% of the request for support from capable, deserving but with reduced economic capacity and in possession of the required requirements will be satisfied from the notice.
The Mur has transferred the PNRR and PON funds to the regional institutions for the right to university study in Italy, finally resolving the impasse that has generated a situation of hardship for tens of thousands of students throughout Italy.
The State transferred a total of 13 million and 370 thousand euros to the Sardinian Ersu for the PNRR and 3 million and 80 thousand euros of PON resources then divided between Sassari and Cagliari on the basis of the indications provided by the Regional Department of Public Education.
Satisfaction from the Extraordinary Commissioner and the General Director of ERSU of Sassari Rosanna Ruiu and Libero Meloni: «An important result has been achieved, to support our students and guarantee the right to study. In the future, at the legislative level, it will be necessary to focus decisively on the possibility of expanding the number of beneficiaries and significantly increasing the amount of the grants».
