Jasmine Paolini and Sara Errani are in the final in the Olympic women's doubles tennis tournament .

The Italian pair defeated the Czech pair of Karolina Muchova and Linda Noskova in the semifinal without any worries with a score of 6-3, 6-2 . The game was open until the first set was 3-3, then the Italians took off playing great tennis.

Another sure medal therefore for Italy , whether it will be gold or silver we will find out in the final, where on Sunday Errani and Paolini will face the fearsome Russians Shnaider-Andreeva , who demolished the Spanish Bucsa-Sorribes Tormo 6-1, 6-2.

For tennis it is a historic Olympic medal: the last one was in fact 100 years ago, with Uberto de Morpurgo, bronze in Paris 1924
