The conference "Contributions to a roadmap for the energy transition of Sardinia" will be held in Cagliari and Carbonia on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The two-day event - organized by the University of Cagliari, Sotacarbo and Enea - aims to compare scenarios and proposals to ensure the island's climate neutrality.

During the opening ceremony - which will be held on Tuesday in the great hall of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture - the speeches of the governor, Christian Solinas, of the rectors of the Universities of Cagliari and Sassari, Francesco Mola and Gavino Mariotti, of the regional councilors of Programming, Industry and Environment, Giuseppe Fasolino, Anita Pili and Gianni Lampis.

Opened by professors Mola and Mariotti, the conference includes the introduction of Mario Porcu (president of Sotacarbo). Following, the speeches of the regional councilors and Stefano Besseghini (president of the Regulatory Authority for energy, networks and environment), Gilberto Dialuce (new president of Enea), Marcello Capra (representative of the Ecological Transition ministry) and Maurizio Delfanti (Rse CEO).

Among the topics analyzed in the first day of work, "Italian policies for energy transition and innovation", "New technologies to support the energy transition", "Proposals for a roadmap for climate neutrality" and "Training, innovation and technology transfer for the ecological transition of Sardinia ”by Fabrizio Pilo (Diee, Cagliari University).

Giorgio Graditi (Enea) will speak at the meeting “Initiative for the creation of a Hydrogen Center of Excellence in Sardinia”. Then the round table will be held with Marcello Capra, Fabrizio Iaccarino (Enel), Patrizia Rutigliano (Snam), Francesca Zanninotti (Medea, Italgas group), Maurizio De Pascale (Confindustria Sardegna).
