The cloister of the Church of Santa Maria di Betlem in Sassari hosts the "Summer Music" concert series from Saturday until September 25th. Organized by the Friends of the Conservatory Association - Sardinia Philharmonic Orchestra, under the artistic direction of Antonio Puglia, the series features 12 events, all starting at 8:30 pm.

The event kicks off on Saturday with the inaugural concert, “Solisti all'Opera,” featuring the trio of Giuseppe Nova on flute, Antonio Puglia on clarinet, and Mariano Meloni on piano.

The programme includes pieces from the most famous operas, from Carulli's duet from Donizetti's Poliuto to the intermezzo from Bizet's Carmen , from Klosé's fantasy duet on themes from Bellini's Sonnambula to a tribute to Maria Callas, up to Cilea's Serenata and a Fantasy from Rossini's Barber of Seville .

Upcoming events. The series will continue on Monday, September 1st, with a guitar recital by Francesco Tizianel, on the 2nd with the Duo "Tenere Armonie," composed of singer Elisabetta Paglia and pianist Angela Ignacchiti, and on the 3rd with a piano recital by Maurizio Mastrini on his "Ghost International Tour."
