Elisa Biagini and Gigio Alberti close “On the other side of the sea”

Fourth and final day Sunday of the literary festival organized by Associazione Itinerandia with the artistic direction of Maria Luisa Perazzona and Elia Cossu and the collaboration of the director of the School of the University of Salamanca in Italy Monica Bedana. The rich program is divided into two locations.
Tomorrow morning at 12 literary aperitif at the Sa Mandra agritourism farm in Alghero in the company of the Florentine poet Elisa Biagini who will discuss her poetry collection “Filamenti” (Einaudi), recently translated into Catalan, with Joan-Elies Adell and Stefano Resmini (event in collaboration with Nàrami).
In the evening the festival moves to Putifigari , in the central Piazza Boyl. At 7:30 pm Maria Grazia Calandrone, poet, narrator, presenter and author Rai talks with Patrizia Sardo Marras about her latest novel “Magnifico e tremendo stava l'amore” just published by Einaudi, where she reworks the crime story of Luciana Cristallo , murderer of her husband in 2004, after having suffered twenty years of violence and abuse from him, and acquitted by the Supreme Court, with a sentence destined to set a precedent, because it was deemed not punishable.
Following Gigio Alberti , one of the fetish actors of the director Gabriele Salvatores (“Mediterraneo”, “Marrakesh Express” and “Sud”) with the reading “Ahi Sudamerica!” which draws on the words of cult authors such as Julio Cortazar, Luis Sepulveda, Osvaldo Soriano, Francisco Colane. The musical accompaniment is by Zaira Zingone and Graziano Solinas.
The event will close with a musical performance by the very young violin students of the “Giuseppe Verdi” Music Institute of Alghero, Camilla De Deo, Celeste De Deo and Giulia Peana, accompanied by teachers Anna Vilardi on the violin and Raimondo Dore on the piano.
