Marshal Stankovic and Giacomo Matteotti are the first protagonists of the 15th edition of Florinas in Giallo , the literary festival with the highest level of suspense in all of Sardinia, given that it is dedicated not only to detective stories but also to noir and thrillers. While waiting for the festival (from 29 August to 1 September) three preview events, curated by the Municipality of Florinas and the Itinerandia Association with the artistic direction of the Cyrano and Azuni bookshops.

It starts on June 14th in Florinas (piazza del Popolo, at 7.30 pm), with the first presentation in Sardinia of “Mantene s'odiu” (Edizioni Piemme), the new, highly anticipated detective story by Elias Mandreu , which marks the return to bookstores of the Nuoro collective formed by Andrea Pusceddu, Mauro Pusceddu and Eugenio Annicchiarico. The novel proposes the first investigation of Marshal Stankovic, a new, irresistible detective hero, sent to Sardinia as punishment and "unable to stay out of trouble, tormented by his past, destined to fall in love with women of great charm and intelligence and to regret it".

The previews of Florinas in Giallo then continue on June 21st in Alghero (Villa Mosca, at 7pm) and on the 22nd in Sassari (Tavolara Pavilion, at 6pm) with a double meeting with the journalist and writer Concetto Vecchio . Authoritative quirinalist, author of La Repubblica and Il Friday, at the Concetto Vecchio festival he will discuss his new essay, “Io vi accuso. Giacomo Matteotti and us” (Utet) , written on the centenary of the death of the socialist leader assassinated by a fascist squad on 10 June 1924.
