Electroacoustic music at the “Canepa di Sassari”

“Scenari elettroacustici” is a seminar-concert of the electronic music school of the “Ottorino Respighi” Conservatory of Latina, within the project Twisted - Electroacoustic Music Network. The new appointment of the series “I mercoledì del Conservatorio” is scheduled for Wednesday at 7 pm in Sala Sassu, with free admission.
The event will be curated and performed by the teachers of the “Respighi” Conservatory Silvia Lanzalone, Federico Scalas and Elisabetta Scatarzi , together with the students of the Lazio institute Luca Giacobbe, Claudia Corsi, Gabriele Erdi and Gianluca Pellegrino.
The program includes the performance of seven pieces : Variación by Federico Scalas for voice and live electronics, Statua della Libertà by Paolo Martellacci for percussion and electronics, Rintocchi , acousmatic by Claudia Corsi, Wood&Wind by Gabriele Erdi for violin and electronics, Two dots , acousmatic by Gianluca Pellegrino, Caleidoscopio studio n°9 by Luca Giacobbe for live electronics, violin with motion sensors and electronic percussion, Russian Requiem – fragments , electronic work by Silvia Lanzalone on verses by Anna Achmatova for reciting voice and electronics.
The Twisted project is an exchange between Conservatories: last June, Canepa students Emanuele Sara, Francesco Corrias, Deliaurora Cadeddu and Michela Pilo had been to Respighi, accompanied by their teachers Walter Cianciusi and Riccardo Sarti to perform their pieces.
