Two appeals to claim the same number of elections in the Regional Council were presented before the TAR by two people excluded from the highest Sardinian assembly. The constituencies in which the allocation of seats is contested are Nuoro and Ogliastra.

Both hearings have been set for June 26 this year. The first appeal was presented - as anticipated by L'Unione Sarda - by the former regional councilor of the League and former councilor for Public Works, Pierluigi Saiu, who remained out despite the 2977 preferences obtained. Then there is the one presented by the former mayor of Tortolì, in Ogliastra, Massimo Cannas of Orizzonte Comune, who obtained 736 preferences.

In this case, explains the lawyer Antonio Gaia, «the Ogliastra which is entitled to two seats was left with only one to the advantage of the Oristanese, which took up the seventh seat out of 6 foreseen by the law, with the risk that the principle constitutional right of representation may disappear".
