The Stintino Tonnara Museum confirms its central role in promoting and enhancing local culture by registering around 200 visits between Easter and Easter Monday. Tourists, families and enthusiasts have visited the rooms to discover the ancient traditional tuna fishing practiced in the Gulf of Asinara, the life of the tornarti and the history of the village of Stintino. An exceptional result for a small museum, achieved in recent years thanks also to the staff of the structure that, since 2016, has been involved in keeping the memory alive. The museum is now a dynamic and inclusive space that hosts exhibitions, cultural events, concerts and activities for children and families throughout the year. The success of Easter represents an important signal in view of the summer season with a museum ready to enrich the tourist offer of the village with new cultural initiatives. Inside multimedia tools and audiovisual and musical itineraries, videos with a narrative voice that accompany visitors on a journey with period images that also tell the story of Asinara and the Tonnara Saline. The exceptional opening has also been scheduled for the April 25th holiday, observing the same hours in the morning and in the afternoon.
