Easter brings tourists back to northern Sardinia. According to the forecasts of the managers of the airports of Alghero and Olbia, between today and Tuesday 19 April around 65 thousand passengers will pass through the two airports.

To be precise, 25 thousand at the "Riviera del Corallo" and 40 thousand at the "Costa Smeralda".

Data obviously not comparable with those of the last two years, when the pandemic has limited and not a little tourist inflows. But also on the increase compared to the Easter weekend of 2019, the year before Covid.

In Olbia, Geasar, the airport management company, reports that the increase in flights between 2019 and 2022 is 4%, for a total of 308 movements and 53 thousand seats offered, 59% of which concern national routes .

In Alghero, Sogeaal communicates even greater growth, with + 19% compared to the Easter holidays three years ago, and a total offer of 31 thousand seats and 166 movements between national and international connections.
