Exhibitions, extraordinary openings and events at Easter and Easter Monday in Sardinia . Many events are scheduled over the long holiday weekend in the Museums of the Regional Directorate which will be open, exceptionally, also on Sunday 31 March and Monday 1 April 2024.

Starting from Sassari , where at the “GA Sanna” Museum you can visit the Castoldi Pavilion recently reopened to the public with a new look. The new layout of the Sanna Museum includes a complete revision of the exhibition and is consolidated as a space dedicated to welcoming visitors and introducing the history of the museum and its collections. The new space anticipates the exhibition transformation of the Museum, which will also affect the other environments dedicated to the story of Prehistory, the Nuragic Age, the Phoenician-Punic and Roman periods.

Also available to the public are the collections of the National Art Gallery where a first selection of Giuseppe Biasi's works, belonging to the Collection of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, is visible to the general public, waiting to be able to temporarily exhibit the entire collection in the rooms of the Museum. But not only. Also on display are the works that the patron Giuseppe Tomé left to the city of Sassari. Over 150 pieces which are now part of the Museum's collections.

So in Caprera, at the Garibaldi Compendium you can visit the new exhibition space created inside Giuseppe Garibaldi's windmill, which contains some tools linked to the Caprera farm, among which stands out the press for grinding olives and for cleaning grain. To delve deeper into the history of Garibaldi's life, a few kilometers away there is also the path that leads to the Giuseppe Garibaldi Memorial , in the Savoy fortress that houses the Museum. Visitors will be able to access the multimedia rooms inside four exhibition blocks, integral parts of Arbuticci's military architecture, entirely dedicated to the figure of the Hero of the Two Worlds.
