Duo Vortex closes the summer session of “Wednesdays at the Conservatory”

Almost a passing of the baton: on July 2nd in Sala Sassu in Sassari the concert of the Duo Vortex (7 pm) as the last date before the summer break of “I mercoledì del Conservatorio”. From the 7th at the “Canepa” and then in Alghero the review “Notturni contemporanei”, in collaboration with the “GP da Palestrina” Conservatory of Cagliari, the Civic School of Nuoro and the Associazione Arte in Musica of Alghero.
On Wednesday the protagonists will be Simona Persico (violin) and Francesco Miscera (piano) with a concert dedicated to Ludwig van Beethoven, of which the Sonata n. 2 in C minor op. 30 will be performed, and to Edvard Grieg, with the Sonata n. 3 in C minor op. 45.
Both began their studies in Nuoro, at the Civic Music School “Antonietta Chironi”, and regularly play in ensembles and chamber music groups. Admission to the concert is free. “I mercoledì del Conservatorio” will return on September 3.
These are the free events of the “Notturni contemporanei” series: concerts at Canepa on 7 and 28 July and at the cloister of the church of San Francesco in Alghero on 14, 18 and 31 July.
