There are just a few weeks left until the release of the sequel to "Dune", the second chapter of the extraordinary intergalactic epic taken from the literary universe of Frank Herbert. With its impressive adaptation for the big screen, the epic vision of Denis Villeneuve - today considered one of the most successful film authors in the science fiction genre - has fostered a true rebirth for the literary work and now aims to amaze spectators with an even more ambitious sequel, both visually and in terms of content.

Known for his titles with a very high scenographic impact, as well as for the interesting ideas of a scientific and philosophical nature, the Canadian director has acquired ever greater visibility on the international scene starting from "Arrival" and "Blade Runner 2049", up to the triumph of fame achieved with “Dune” in 2021, awarded with six statuettes at the Oscars.

Such a successful remake for cinema - even compared to the less successful attempt made by David Lynch way back in 1984 - was also possible thanks to the exceptional cast involved for the occasion, among which the young Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya stand out.

The result of this operation appeared even clearer after being rated as one of the highest-grossing titles in 2021 and in third place among the ten best films of the same year according to Best Movie. Therefore, the very high expectations for the imminent release of the sequel are not surprising, both among the public of new enthusiasts and among the hard core of loyal readers, who once again hope to find the best possible transposition in Villeneuve's undertaking.

In this regard, American spectators witnessed a short preview of the new film lasting about ten minutes a few days ago, during a special screening of the first "Dune" in IMAX format, arousing impressions of uncontainable exhilaration. Among the various previews, it seems that the ride of the sandworm has been admired for the first time, already quickly mentioned in the official trailer released last May.

Among the hottest comments reposted on X following the event we find the following: «The scene they showed us tonight from DUNE: PART TWO was simply incredible! I've always been in awe of the way Denis Villeneuve captures greatness in his films, but this time it seems to be unmatched, especially in IMAX. This movie can't come fast enough! Yet another wrote: «The second part will be crazy. Those of us who saw Denis Villeneuve's Dune in IMAX tonight got a special preview of part two. We saw a new trailer and the full scene of Paul riding a sandworm for the first time. It already looks like a masterpiece. I can't wait!".

And no less interesting: «I went to the screening of Dune in IMAX, it was full of people, it ended with Denis Villeneuve presenting a scene from the second part, and at the end a boy shouted DUUUUUUNE!! at the top of their lungs and people applauded."

Also due to the release being postponed from November 3rd to February 28th, it now seems clear how the wait for the imminent release of "Dune: Part Two" has become unsustainable. And even in light of this feedback, we trust that it will manage to amaze us even more than what we saw in the first episode.
