From 9 to 13 April, the folk in limba of Double Dose , a band based in Sassari, Sorso and Sennori, will resonate in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

The quartet, active since 2014, is composed of Aldo Gallizzi (mandolin and guitar), Antonio Miscali (vocals and guitar), Claudio Spanu (accordion), and Danilo Mura (double bass and bass ukulele). A simple yet nuanced ensemble, over the years they have built a distinctive and engaging sound.

During their tour of the Grand Duchy, Double Dose will perform a setlist of their own original songs, as well as some interesting reinterpretations of Sardinian classics. The band stands out for its original and richly influenced musical style, blending elements of Sardinian tradition with the sounds of Irish folk and American country. Lyrics in limba develop over these musical themes, strengthening the project's identity and underscoring its connection to the region.

The tour represents an important opportunity to promote Sardinian music and the language abroad, confirming Double Dose's commitment to building cultural bridges through the universal power of music. Following the concerts in Luxembourg, the quartet also has several dates scheduled on the Italian mainland in May.
