Double concert in the church of San Pietro in Silki in Sassari

The Mediterranean Festival stops in Sassari: on Friday at 8:30 pm the church of San Pietro in Silki in Sassari will host a double concert. The first will be dedicated to the organ with Rodolfo Bellatti, while the second part will feature the boys of the Juvenilia Youth String Orchestra directed by Alessio Manca.
The evening's program includes the performance on the valuable Agati Tronci organ by Rodolfo Bellatti of pieces from the sixteenth to the nineteenth century composed by Andrea Falconieri, Martino Bitti, Alessandro Scarlatti, Francesco Ferro, in the program "Lost Sounds, Rediscovered Sounds - Unpublished Organ Music from Liguria".
The young musicians of Juvenilia will instead be engaged in the Concerto BWV1043 and the famous “Air on the G-string” by Johann Sebastian Bach. The evening will be introduced by Carmela Mura Monfardino with a short listening guide.
The international festival is curated by the Arte in Musica association with the artistic direction of Ugo Spanu.
