Sardinia tells its story, and it does so with two of its most intense and diverse voices. At the Circolo di Lettura Dolia in Dolianova, at Corso Repubblica 58, the autumn festival dedicated to contemporary Sardinian fiction continues, a literary journey that intertwines stories, territories, and consciousnesses.

After the inaugural meeting, the baton passes to Maria Francesca Chiappe and Erre Push, protagonists of two evenings dedicated to the written and drawn word.

On Friday, October 24th, at 6:00 PM, journalist and writer Maria Francesca Chiappe will be in conversation with Stefania Frigau about her new novel, Uguale per tutti (Castelvecchi, 2025). A career spanning the pages of the Unione Sarda and the courtroom—Chiappe is also the Councilor for Culture for the City of Cagliari—comes together in a lucid and passionate narrative that brings together two worlds the author knows well: that of justice and that of journalism.

In the novel, the writer explores the subtle gap between the ideal of equality enshrined in law and its fragile application in everyday reality, offering a timely reflection on the relationship between truth and power.

On Sunday, October 26th, again at 6:00 PM, the Circolo will host Erre Push, author of the graphic novel Faula Birdi (2022), a work that blends art and activism. Born in Carbonia and now a visual designer and illustrator in Rome, Erre Push recounts Sardinia through the signs of comics, with a visual force that both reveals and denounces.

Produced in collaboration with ReCommon, an association committed to defending territories from the abuses of economic power, Faula Birdi is a story of environmental and civil resistance, dedicated "to all the people who work every day to defend their territory."

During the evening, the author will converse with Luisella Lacu, while lawyer Michele Zuddas, a supporter of the Pratobello Law, will offer an in-depth analysis of the legal and environmental implications of the book.

The evening is organized by the Dolia Reading Club in collaboration with the Parteolla-Gerrei Territorial Defense Committee.
