A good approach for 20 minutes and then a dull Torres. At "Vanni Sanna" it ends 0-0 and the result is tighter for Spal who in the second half creates more goal opportunities. The team from Sassari shores up third place but loses the opportunity to secure it.

First half. In the 10th minute Varela goes to the bottom right and puts a low cross into the middle where Fischnaller arrives just a hair's breadth late. In the 15th minute a delightful vertical pass by Mastinu but Scotto moves out wide and wastes time. Varela scores in the 17th minute but the referee disallows it for a handball. On a corner from the left in the 21st minute Dametto tries to turn it in but the shot is blocked.
