Dinamo Banco di Sardegna has been very unlucky, having been plagued by injuries and ailments throughout this preparation period.

As communicated by the Sassari club, "the athlete Michele Vitali suffered an injury to his right hand during the match played against Valtur Brindisi on Thursday 10 September."

The guard-forward in fact missed Saturday's rematch against the Apulians played in Oristano.

The club added: "The player has already begun his rehabilitation program, supported by the club's medical and healthcare staff. The club will constantly monitor the player's condition and establish a recovery time."

Michele Vitali's injury adds to that of Canadian point guard Kaze Kajami-Keane, which forced Dinamo to return to the market to sign American combo guard Brandon Young.

Playmaker Riccardo Pisano is also still sidelined, while the first to return is expected to be Estonian winger Joonas Riismaa, who has an Italian passport, having been sidelined by the flu.
