The power went out with 3:21 left, and Dinamo Women were up 69-67 and had yet to hit a free throw. A win by at least four points would have secured a playoff spot.

The Sassari club announced that they were unable to play the final minutes of the match within the 24 hours allowed by the regulations, and therefore lost the game 20-0 by default, not even receiving the points awarded for defeats.
