A ferocious victory after a playoff-level battle. Coach Mrsic marked his debut at the PalaSerradimigni with a decisive victory over Trento (89-88), allowing Dinamo to leave last place.

Banco got off to a solid start, leading 10-2, led by an overpowered Marshall. Trento responded with a zone play, but Mrsic's team moved the ball well and kept things moving. Battle's introduction revitalized the visitors, who relied on their drives to break through the white-and-blue defense. The scoreline was a rebound: Johnson's bomb put Dinamo up 11, but the extended zone play bogged down the home offense, which was also without a center (Vincini and McGlynn each had two fouls), and forwards Aldridge and Jakimoski scored the break that reopened the game. At halftime, Trento was ahead: 49-50.

After the break, the guests had the right mentality and intensity and attempted to break away: 54-62 at the 25th minute. Dinamo recovered with a double center, but fouls affected them: Johnson hit a three-pointer to overtake (67-66). Free throws put Trento back in front, who maintained a two-basket lead until the 38th minute: 80-85. Buie (17 points) made a three-pointer, Marshall coasted to coast, and Vincini scored on a steal: 87-85. Jones counterattacked with a drive and a free throw, Thomas grabbed an offensive rebound and converted it into a new +1. Trento had 12 seconds to shoot, but Jones was blocked by Thomas.

Johnson tops the scorer with 19 points.
