Daryl Macon is the American point guard chosen to replace Jacob Pullen (who left for the Turkish A2 league) and likely also Nate Johnson, who has flown to Egypt where he is expected to sign for Zamalek Cairo soon. Dinamo seems poised to sign just one foreign player, their sixth, with Carlos Marshall expected to return and big man Rashawn Thomas expected to return in two weeks.
With Greek club Maroussi, the 30-year-old Macon averaged 13 points and 5 assists. He also played for Galatasaray, AEK Athens, and Panathinaikos, and won the VBT League with Unics Kazan. With all his clubs, he consistently averaged between 13 and 18 points per game and maintained excellent three-point shooting percentages. He also has a few NBA appearances under his belt with the Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heats.
Macon should arrive by tomorrow and therefore be registered in time for the match in Trento on March 7th.
