Objective qualification for the European Cup. On September 20, Dinamo will be in Turkey to play the elimination round that promotes only one team to the regular season of the Fiba Champions League. The Sassari team works in Nuoro, in the facilities of the two local clubs and with the great availability of the municipal administration. Double training session every day with coach Markovic and physical trainer Boccolini who have planned the work of an almost totally renewed group.
Coach Nenad Markovic says: “We have to be ready, there will be very strong teams already in the preliminary round. We can work on ourselves, I am happy with the team, they work hard, they give it our all, little by little we put all the pieces in, but I am happy with the availability and how the boys are facing this retreat. We have everything we need to prepare ourselves in the best way possible”
Physical trainer Matteo Boccolini adds:
Double daily sessions under the watchful eyes of physical trainer Matteo Boccolini and his staff, lots of intensity and load management: “Today in modern basketball players train much more even in the summer, they have their trainers, we have to know each other, understand each other's needs and make sure we balance the work. They are all guys who have already been very open to discussion and our methodologies this summer. There is maximum harmony with the coach both on the conditioning part and on the work on the field, the feelings are very good, we want to be ready for September 20th ”.
Also present at the training sessions was President Stefano Sardara, who, together with the general manager of Banco Giuseppe Cuccurese and GM Federico Pasquini, followed the sessions of coach Markovic's boys very carefully. The countdown has already begun that will lead to the first seasonal outing, on August 28 at 8 pm in Nuoro against coach Demis Cavina's Cremona.
