Dinamo's new coach, 52-year-old Croatian Veljko Mrsic, has arrived to replace the dismissed Massimo Bulleri. However, he will not be able to sit on the bench for tomorrow's sixth matchday of the championship against Cantù (PalaSerradimigni, 8:30 PM) because it was not possible to register him in time.

Massimiliano Oldoini will be the assistant coach of the Sassari team, as he did in the Europa Cup victory over Sporting Lisbon. Mrsic will sit on the bench, as Macedonian Zare Markovski did when Dinamo was in Serie A2 in the 1991/92 season. Mrsic will be available to sit on the bench at the Taliercio against Venezia.

Tomorrow, however, there's already a crucial match against Cantù, who returned to Serie A with authority: two wins against Reggio Emilia and Cremona. However, away from home, they lost in both Trento and Brescia.

In the meantime, some early games were played and Varese was overtaken in the final quarter by Virtus Bologna, remaining with only 2 points, those earned at the PalaSerradimigni.
