After the loss to Varese, Dinamo also lost in Cremona against another relegation contender. The match ended 79-75 in favor of the home team, Vanoli. The unavailability of guard Johnson and, again, wing Ceron are only a partial excuse. The reality is that the team currently has more weaknesses than potential, especially in the Italian group and in Marshall, who achieved very little on offense and excelled only as a rebounder on defense.

There was more than one regret for Bulleri's team, which played well and at times very well until the 26th minute when it went up by 15 points (39-54) with the Buie-McGlynn duo and thanks to the alternation between a 2-3 zone defense and a man with many substitutions. With the exit of point guard Buie and center Mc Glynn, there was a relaxation and Cremona with triples from Jones and Willis overturned the inertia, then trying to overtake in the final quarter: 66-65. The top five (Mezzanotte at small forward) was unsuccessful, and when the starting five was reconstituted the game was still chasing and the errors from the free throw line (6 of 14) weighed heavily. With 12 seconds left, Sassari had the ball for a potential tie, but they played it poorly and lost with a mix-up between Buie and Thomas.

For Dinamo, the best player was Buie with 15 points and 11 assists. Center McGlynn had 16 points in 22 minutes, a usage that once again seemed limited.
