Two wins in three games, both away from home but against modest opponents: Urania Milano and Mestre. Inevitable ups and downs for a Dinamo team that, in addition to having completely revamped its roster and restarted with only new players, also had to endure the crippling injuries of Canadian point guard Kajami-Keane and winger Michele Vitali, as well as a double substitution at midfield, with Irishman Floos replacing Young, who had replaced Kajami-Keane.
The numbers show that Sassari is one of the best rebounders in Serie A2: they grab 41 rebounds per game, third best overall. This is thanks to the Nze-Brooks-Riismaa trio. Their two-point shooting accuracy, however, is poor at 49% and mediocre at the free throw line, where the white-blues shoot 69%, placing them in thirteenth place.
The schedule remains friendly : next up are Cento, Rimini, Ruvo di Puglia, Caserta, and Cividale. Head-to-head matches begin on matchday nine for those aiming to advance to or return to Serie A: a double-header at home against Pesaro and Avellino, followed by an away trip to Livorno. Michele Vitali and Riccardo Pisano will already be back for those matches, while Kajami-Keane will likely have to wait until December.
