Dinamo plays, runs, and has fun, crushing Cantù 100-84. Their first championship win was courtesy of assistant coach Oldoini, who is on the bench as he was in the European Cup, while new coach Mrsic is on the sidelines due to his registration issues.

Johnson got off to a great start, working with Marshall to make it 23-14. In the second quarter, the defense disrupted the visitors' attack (Ceron played excellently), and Marshall's Eurostep increased the lead to +17, which became a 26-point lead at 24' (67-41). Point guard Gilyard led Cantù's comeback, which reached 73-63. Johnson was brought back (he had been sitting down a bit too much) and the white-and-blues regained their lead, with the guard and Marshall pulling away from their opponents.

Johnson had a terrific performance: 33 points in 30 minutes. Marshall also had a strong performance with 24 points. McGlynn had a double-double: 11 points and 10 rebounds.
