Dinamo gets off to a false start at PalaSerradimigni.
The home defeat against Varese has already made the championship difficult.Per restare aggiornato entra nel nostro canale Whatsapp
For the third time in a row, Dinamo flopped in their debut at the PalaSerradimigni. Two years ago, they were defeated by Napoli (90-111), last year by Scafati (86-97), who, like Varese, were considered among the slumps this year and were, in fact, relegated.
Coach Bulleri said, "It's only the first game; there are 29 left," but the home defeat against the Lombardy team is a tough one, especially since the schedule includes an away trip to Cremona and, more importantly, matches against Milan (in Sassari) and Virtus (in Bologna) on matchdays three and four. The risk is another sluggish start, which has led to a modest championship in the last two seasons.
In the review of the game against Varese, some rotations and playing time are out of place , especially that of the two big men, McGlynn and Vincini, who alternated for 33 total minutes, producing a combined 27 points on 11-of-12 shooting, demonstrating their supremacy.
In the other seven, coach Bulleri opted for small starting fives, with Thomas as the pivot and Marshall as the "four," ending up facing the lighter and more athletic Varese on their preferred court. Even the bench-based starting fives were less than convincing. In short, the impression is that in the newly revamped Dinamo (ten new players), there's still a lack of understanding not only among the players but also between the coaching staff and the team.
