It's been ten seasons since a Dinamo player scored so many points: point guard Desure Buie scored 38 points on 8-of-10 three-pointers in a 94-73 Europe Cup victory over Valcea. This was his best performance of the season in the FIBA Cup and one of the best in recent years. Last year, Deande Baldwin of BC Sabah (Azerbaijan) scored 39, but his percentages were lower and he didn't score the win against Belgian side Spirou.
Rashawn Thomas scored 40 points and 16 rebounds against Leiden in the 2018/19 Europe Cup.
Overall, only a few Dinamo players have managed to perform better since Sassari has been in Serie A. The record is still held by Caleb Green: 45 points in 29 minutes with 10-of-11 two-pointers and a 46 rating in the crushing victory over Varese in the 2013/14 season.
Drake Diener, on the other hand, holds the record for rating (the sum of positives minus errors): 44 points on 11-of-14 two-pointers and 7-of-13 three-pointers with a 48 rating in the win over Venice. Sosa's third impressive performance in the treble-winning season was 40 points on 10-of-15 three-pointers in the win over Varese, after overtime.
Among the other snipers, it is worth remembering James White's 38 points in the sprint defeat against Montegranaro in the first year of Serie A and David Logan's 37 points with 7/10 three-pointers in the victory against Reggio Emilia in the following championship.
