It was almost a suicide, though Reggio Emilia deserves credit for never giving up. At the PalaSerradimigni, the score ended 99-102, with Dinamo letting the visitors overtake with 41 seconds left in a game they dominated for 25 minutes, even reaching a 16-point lead.

Banco got off to a great start, going from 2-8 up to 15-8 with a 13-0 run thanks to Buie and Thomas. Macon's introduction immediately produced points and play: they were up 13 at the 7th minute. Reggio Emilia alternated defenses, finding solidity in the paint with Echenique but unable to stop Banco from playing exceptionally well.

In the third quarter, the score was 71-55 with two three-pointers from Buie, but Reggio Emilia attacked the rim with its guards, especially Caupain, and gradually climbed back to within 1. In the final minutes, Macon and Buie lost crucial balls, but Reggio overtook with a three-pointer from Echenique (99-100) and then won the game from the free throw line after yet another turnover.

Dinamo had six players in double figures, with Buie scoring 23 points. Caupain scored 31 for the visiting team.
