After the recent disastrous and irritating experiences with foreigners who cared little or nothing about Dinamo and the place they had landed, it is comforting to note that for the upcoming 2026/27 season the Sassari team has found two foreigners who appreciate the environment.
Point guard Kaza Kajami-Keane's father, a woman who was born and raised on the island for three years before moving to Canada, his native country. Center forward Bryce Nze revealed, "I had been thinking about Sardinia for my vacation, and now I'm on this beautiful island that I want to explore, including the food."
Since the season's mantra is "recreate enthusiasm," it certainly helps to have two foreigners who understand their current status and want to learn more about Sardinia and interact with more than just the locals. Their involvement suggests that Kajami-Keane and Nze will bring that extra something when it comes to fighting on the pitch, rather than maintaining a neutral or, worse, disinterested attitude.
