A sad conclusion, in line with much of the season. On neutral ground in Verona, Dinamo fights for 25 minutes but on a night where the playmakers shoot poorly and motivation is not at its best, Trieste wins 92-76.

Bendzius and Fobbs scored 16 points each, while the returning Thomas (11) and the pivot Vincini also did well. The difference in three-point shooting was eloquent: 16/38 for the home team and 8/31 for Bulleri's white-blues who still had to do without Halilovic and Renfro, while Trieste was without Valentine and Ruzzier.

THE REPORT – Dinamo starts off badly and goes down (10-2) but after the time out they change face: Vincini and Bendzius score with an additional free throw, Thomas enters and contributes to the 14-2 break that reverses the inertia: 12-16 at 7'. Bulleri inevitably has to lower the quintet and Trieste takes advantage of this to score from below and restore balance in the match, then with a couple of triples they get back in front: 32-28 at 14'. The white-blues try to come back but in attack they have nothing from Weber and generally very little from the playmakers. Trieste shoots decidedly better from three than Banco and runs away to +14.

In the third quarter, the starting white-blue quintet scores a 12-2 break and gets closer with a tap-in by Vincini: 54-49 at 24'. They also go to -3 but then Trieste breathes with triples by Brown, Uthoff and Candussi takes off again: 79-58 at 32'. Game over.
