The Minister of Regional Affairs Roberto Calderoli will be in Sardinia on May 19 to discuss the law on differentiated autonomy . His visit to the Regional Council building is expected, where he will explain to the councilors the measure already approved by the government.

This was announced today in the Chamber by the President of the Assembly Michele Pais. Who, for the minister's attention, hoped to be able to also submit the national law proposal for the establishment of the Sardinia and Sicily constituencies for the election of the members of the European Parliament which belong to Italy .

The text was on the agenda in the session scheduled for today, but in the end it was canceled due to the impossibility of the majority to guarantee the quorum . "By the 19th it would be appropriate for the Council to deliver the approved text to the minister and above all a clear position regarding the representation of Sardinia in the European Parliament", was Pais's invitation to the Council.

But the appeal fell on deaf ears. After a conference of group leaders, the majority managed to guarantee the presence of 25 councilors in the Chamber. But shortly after the session restarted, two left, and the president was left with nothing to do but cancel the session. The law on constituencies for the European elections could be discussed on May 3, but only after the debate on the subject of airports .
Meanwhile, this morning, the meeting of the Health Commission was also skipped due to lack of a quorum.
