In Desulo Saturday 28 May is the "Water Festival" .
Appointment for "Sa die de s'abba" from 10 in the multifunctional hall of the institute including Desulo .
An opportunity to remind us all of the importance of water, the essence of life itself. The bodies of animals and plants are mainly composed of water: even if the volume present on Earth is estimated at 1,400,000,000 km³ (97% salty and included in seas and oceans), it should not be wasted in any way .
After the institutional greetings of the manager Francesca Cellamare and the mayor of Desulo Gian Cristian Melis , Dr. Antonio Barracca will speak: the theme “Water is an indispensable condition for every form of life”. Then Professor Gianfranco Bottazzi for “Geopolitics of water resources. Water as a strategic resource ".
Then Professor Giovanni Sistu of the University of Cagliari, the topic will be "Hydrology of Sardinia and water management". Moderated by Maria D. Botti , first collaborator.
Finally, the word to the pupils of the institute: children and teenagers will present the work carried out on the subject under the supervision of their teachers.
