Desirè Manca is with Giuseppe Conte . The regional councilor for Labor supports across the board the management of the Five Star Movement by the president and former prime minister. "The M5S is not in crisis, but it is transforming," said the member of the Council guest of "A tu per tu" on Radiolina ( click here to listen and watch the podcast of the episode ). And when asked specifically about the rule of the double mandate that Conte wants to cancel, Manca said: "As far as I'm concerned, I still don't know what I will do in the future." Certainly, the councilor herself, who has started her second legislature in the Region, would benefit from it. Still on strictly political grounds, but with an eye on the government of the Island, the Labor minister said that "there will be no reshuffle, the Council is working very well and even the councilor for Health is not at risk."
On the employment front, after eight months in office , Manca draws a " positive balance , but I'll let the Sardinian people judge. What I can say is that from March to today we have planned and invested 200 million euros with various actions , both in the training and employment sectors. There are six or seven resolutions that I have brought to the Council in this period".
According to a recent report by Bankitalia, work in Sardinia has increased by 2.8%. Councilor Manca did not hide the fact that "this growth is mainly linked to seasonality". And yet, "we have also adopted important measures to support the sector by supporting local businesses".
New measures were also announced "for the unemployed over 50 , a real plague", and for the Neet , young people between 15 and 24 who neither work nor study. "It will take time but we have started to get down to professional training: we are in the era of artificial intelligence and instead the offer in Sardinia is still anchored solely to old professions".
Manca had no doubts about the legacy he received from the centre-right: «They left us a disaster », said the member of the Council in the programme hosted by Alessandra Carta.
