Palestine, healthcare, sexist comments. And the resulting responses. A post (accompanied by the inevitable photo) from the most socially active member of Alessandra Todde's government is enough to spark reactions.

This is the official profile of Desirè Manca, spokesperson for the Five Star Movement. Today, she posted a photo of herself in Piazza d'Italia, in Sassari, participating in the demonstration for Palestine, called to coincide with yesterday's general strike, Friday, October 3rd.

"Always on the side of the most vulnerable people. Always. Free Palestine," the accompanying text.

The image, inspired: she is looking up, short haircut, her face covered by running glasses, jacket, lace shirt, wallet and smartphone in her left hand.

Below, space for users. The inevitable comments pour in: "What a nice little balcony," writes a woman. She gets no response. "Were you at the disco?" asks a man. "More breasts for everyone," comments another. For him, there's an answer. The councilor checks his profile, pulls out a "funny" close-up photo with a dog, posts it, and replies: "What can you say to someone like that? He speaks for himself."

Giovanni Manca, another user, shifts the focus. He writes: "Dear Desirè, think about healthcare in Sardinia first." Once again, Manca doesn't fail to respond, openly stating what he's stated less directly in interviews, including recent ones: "I'm not the health councilor," he begins. And he admits: "I didn't choose. If I could choose, believe me, I would have chosen that department, with all my heart."

The two commas in the parenthesis were added by the chronicler: they weren't there.
