Nuoro celebrates Deleddi Day 2023 today, starting from 10.30 am in the "G. Lilliu" auditorium and just a couple of days after the anniversary of the writer's achievement of the Nobel Prize (1926).

The Isre president, Stefano Lavra, welcomed the visitors with greetings. A series of initiatives will follow until the evening with Antioco Floris who together with his students will present the documentary "Children with Grazia Deledda. An experience of media transposition in primary school", produced by Isre, which collects interviews with the authors of the docufilm "Cicytella", to teachers and very young people; but also shows with Bocheteatro, and debates with Angela Guiso, Tanja Baumann, Duilio Caocci, Franciscu Sedda, Annamaria Baldussi, Piero Mura and Simone Pisano, coordinated by Dino Manca who states: «Today there is an awareness of giving life to a sort of a permanent workshop on the planet Deledda, to an organically structured laboratory that finds concrete implementation, legitimation and institutionalization in a Grazia Deledda Study Center open to all".

President Lavra specifies: «The Study Center based at Isre will have to present itself as a point of reference, documentation space and meeting place between scholars, developing cultural projects, workshops, initiatives to promote and enhance the works of the Nobel Prize-winning writer from Nuoro ».
