Cagliari is the Italian city – after Pescara – where pasta is more expensive.

This was reported by Assoutenti , who drew up the ranking of expensive pasta based on prices per kilo.

The capital of Abruzzo is at the top of the ranking, with 2.50 euros per kg.

Following, as mentioned, the Sardinian capital, on an equal footing with Genoa and Macerata: to buy 1,000 grams of pasta you can spend up to 2.37 euros per kg.

In third place is instead Venice, with 2.35 euro/kg.

Again according to Assoutenti, the cities where spaghetti, penne and fusilli are cheaper are Cosenza (1.47 euro/kg) , Benevento (1.48) and Palermo (1.49).
