Dazn price almost halved. But only in the South. There is controversy over the promotion of the streaming platform which exclusively holds the rights to broadcast the Serie A championship and (not exclusively) those to broadcast Serie B matches.

The offer includes a discount for those who activate a three-month subscription by March 19th. For them Dazn will cost 69 euros for three months instead of the canonical 119.97.

To activate the promo you have to go to selected shops, which are active only in seven of the twenty Italian regions: Molise, Puglia, Campania, Basilicata, Calabria, Sicily and Sardinia.

A commercial practice that Federconsumatori has defined as "discriminatory". The association sent an official request to Dazn to ask for the reasons and to urge the company to adopt "more balanced and inclusive pricing policies".

Web TV has not given any official answers, but it is easy to imagine the reasons for the offer, which aims to encourage subscriptions in certain geographical areas where the so-called "pezzotto" is more used. At the same time that of Dazn could be a policy to incentivize the people of Campania who – by now we can say it – will be able to rejoice in the historic third championship of Napoli within a few weeks.

It is not the first time that on the season finale Dazn has offered discounts to keep subscribers even after the end of the championship, last year it offered a 50% discount to new subscribers for the first three months, but the offer at the time was dedicated to everyone.
