One of the most famous voices of contemporary Italian singer-songwriters is traveling across the island for a special live return: everything is ready in Oristano for Daniele Silvestri 's concert this Saturday in Piazza Duomo , as part of the Sustainable Development Festival in a new leg of the " Canzoni a sdraio " tour, celebrating the new album of the same name released on June 12th . The singer and multi-instrumentalist will be accompanied on stage by Marco Santoro (bassoon and trumpet) and Davide Savarese (drums and percussion) starting at 10 pm .
Not just a reappearance on the scene, but the new flame of an artist who has always made concerts a place for experimentation and storytelling , in a chameleon-like approach he has demonstrated repeatedly throughout his career. "Canzoni a Deckchair" fits into this dimension, featuring Silvestri alternating piano and guitar on stage, part of a trio that is essential yet rich in sonic nuance. An intimate and emotional show, it reinterprets old and new songs through free-form arrangements , brimming with new influences and never hindered by predictability.
An artist still faithful to his classic style, combining songwriting research with remarkable pop talent , and as always blending talent and tradition, expressive lightness and civic engagement: this will be evidenced both by lesser-known songs like " Cohiba " and " Argentovivo ," as well as by major hits like " Salirò " and " Le cose in comune ." Awarded with prestigious awards such as the Tenco Prize and the David di Donatello , Silvestri now adds a new chapter to his long career, maintaining a genuine and attentive gaze towards society and the present in which we live.
Now in its fifth edition – dedicated to the important theme of the economy of peace – promoted by Legacoop and Dromos , the Sustainable Development Festival will conclude with a concert by the singer-songwriter, as the final moment of three days packed with meetings, round tables, cultural events and shows with prominent guests, to draw attention to the models of sustainable, inclusive and cooperative development linked to the 2030 Agenda , which ten years after its signing is still largely awaiting implementation.
