The now long days that embrace the hinterland with enchanting sunsets over the sea, perfect for Caribbean sounds: and in particular those of Jamaican origin, which with " Island Yard " will invade the Marina Residence on Saturday in via Lago di Varese , in the Capitana area on the Flumini di Quartu seafront.

Curated by Isla Sound , the "dancehall on the beach" evening will start at 5pm with vinyl selections , a sound system and concerts by long-time affiliates Sista Namely and Anthony Screwface , as well as friends from the local hip hop duo Funtana Beat – recently released the new extended play " 09045 Atto 1 " – and the young Boski , with his crossover and syncopated sounds.

The live performances will begin at 10:30 PM , featuring a succession of reggae, rap, raggamuffin, and drum 'n' bass. They will be preceded by the vinyl sets of the sunset session , which will welcome the most punctual visitors from the opening. But there will also be an intermediate moment, with the eagerly awaited dancehall taking over the sound system from 7 PM .

This is just the first initiative of a new format, conceived to bring back to the beaches of the island the great yard dancehall created in Kingston, which at its debut tomorrow will be entirely free to enter .
