Dance: A young Sardinian star conquers England

Sardinia shines on the international dancesport scene thanks to the talent of Sofia Pigliacampo. The young dancer won first place in the four-ballet category at the UK International Championships, one of the most prestigious and selective competitions in the world, held in England and attracting athletes from all over the world.

A remarkable success, achieved in a context of the highest technical level, where Sofia distinguished herself for her elegance, musicality, and precision, imposing herself on an extremely competitive international audience.

Behind the gold medal is a journey of daily training, sacrifice, and an extraordinary determination for her age. Sofia never stopped believing in her dream, supported by her family and guided by her teachers.

The young champion trains at the Twins Dance Studio in Quartu, directed by teachers Anna and Silvia Scintu, a point of reference for sport dance in the area.

"Seeing Sofia achieve this level of achievement is a source of immense pride for us," her teachers say. "She's a special girl, who approaches every training session with dedication and passion. This result demonstrates that constant commitment and a love for what you do can truly turn dreams into reality."

Rebecca Loi, another student at Twins Dance Studio, also competed in the same competition. She reached the semifinals in all four dances, just seven years old . This was her first experience in an international competition of this magnitude: an important debut, far from home.
