Cycling world mourns Simone Roganti, who died at 21 from illness

The world of Italian cycling is in mourning for the death of Simone Roganti, the 21-year-old representative of the Marche team Continental MG. K Vis Colors for Peace. The tragedy occurred yesterday evening due to an illness in his home in Spoltore. The rescue was immediate but the 118 doctors could only confirm the death of the young cyclist.
Roganti was supposed to leave in the next few days to go racing in Belgium. On September 15th he was supposed to participate in the Trofeo Matteotti cycling race held in Pescara. In the next few weeks, right in Belgium, he was supposed to sign a contract with a Professional team and turn professional. Last Thursday, August 22nd, he was a guest on Veló, the cycling show on Tvsei created by the former professional Luciano Rabottini.
Now the Pescara Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation. An autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death.
